Who’s up for a trip to Mestella?
By: Paddy | September 27th, 2008Not me, thats for true
Tomorrow night the boys are off to take on a rejuvenated Los Ches side in their own stomping ground. Six or seven years ago this match would be one of the biggest on the calender but not anymore I think its fair to say. Anyways the key to getting a good result here will be to defend in a unit and try and frustrate the opposition, which is easier against Valencia than other opposition, but one feels that a point would be a good result. And if we do get a point it will surely be another 0-0 such is the bluntness up front at the moment. Even my mortal enemy and Depors’ star player Andres Guardado thinks so
Team News
Omar Bravo is back while De Guzman is out, suspended. Valeron could make an appearence too after been rested mid week. Urai Emery has certainly got off to a great start with Valencia, but he will be missing Vicente, Silva and Marchena for definate and may decide to rest Villa although I doubt it somehow.
Predicted Line Ups:
Super Depor-Aranzubia
Laure, Zé Castro, Lopo, Filipe
Verdu, Juan Rodriguez, Sergio, Guardado
Valeron
Bravo
Valencia-Renan
Miguel, Albiol, Alexis, Moretti
Joaquin, Fernandes, Albelda, Mata
Angulo, Villa
Predicted score: Valencia 3-1 Depor- Villa x2, Angulo-Bravo
Lets hope for a repeat of this

Super Depor Fact of the DayDeportivo’s greatest European moment was undoubtedly when they defeated the mighty Shelbourne in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League a few years back
