No worst there is none

Deportivo 0 – 3 Valladolid

‘Pitched past pitch of grief, More pangs will, schooled at forepangs, wilder wring’ said Gerard Manly Hopkins over 100 years ago surely in anticipation of Depor’s 3-0 battering at the hands of Vallaolid yesterday.

Jonathan Sesma put Valladolid in front from close range after a quarter of an hour and Pedro Lopez extended the home side’s lead with a brilliant lob 10 minutes later.

And Jose Luis Mendilibar’s men wrapped up a fully-deserved victory when Pedro Leon added a third 11 minutes after the break.

The two teams remain eighth and seventh, respectively.

Lets make no bones about it the lads could and should still qualify for Europe is some shape or form but will have to get performances like this out of the system asap.

Looks like it’s up to your boys and Valencia to represent Spain in the UEFA cup. Both Racing and Sevilla were given their marching orders today.
