All Depor Fans read this!!
By: Paddy | December 2nd, 2008I have some very interesting news that I shall share with ye further down the post but for the time being there’s another victory to celebrate.
Depor’s 1-0 victory over Almeria moves keeps the lads in 6th place in the table, and firmly on the front foot and was in fact our 6th victory in the last 7 games. Verdu was of course the centre of attention in this match, missing a penalty and then making up for it minutes later by striking the winner (at the second attempt) from 6 yards from an Anders Guardado assist.
The hosts threw everything forward as the game drew to a close but could not find the equaliser and they almost fell further behind two minutes from time when Riki’s 25-yard thunderbolt flew narrowly wide of the right upright.
I think it is fair to say that this purple patch is indeed the purpliest patch we have had in the last number of seasons and long may it continue.

Q: When applying hair gel, do you fashion your locks to simulate running, so that when you stand around you look fast, or standing still, so that when you’re running you fool defenders into thinking that you’re just standing around? Or do you do the due to simulate rolling on the ground in pain?
