Deportivo 3 – 1 Bilbao

Not really I game I enjoy very much, as Bilbao have to be respected and its sad to see them lose especially with the current bother they’re in. Anywho I suppose the boys don’t care about sentiments and ran out easy enough winners in the end.

‘First-half goals from Ze Castro and Joan Verdu put the Galicians firmly in control as they threatened to run riot against Paco Chaparro’s men but a Javi Martinez header midway through the second half gave the visitors hope until Andres Guardado’s injury-time goal eventually settled matters’ said Paddy O’Brien.

Depor are now up to 7th in the table while Athletic are not. Next up is a winnable trip to Almeria. the more astute among you surely noticed that I didnt put up anything after the debacle in Madrid, I would have put something only for I don’t know how to accept defeat.

Strange but True Depor Fact of the Day Deportivo owner and clothing mogul Amancio Ortega has promised the team a €250 voucher for his Zara shops if Depor manage to win the league

Isn’t that highlight clip against Milan? And isn’t Depor’s owner like one of the riches chairman in football. 250 voucher is kinda on the low end it seems….

No, no Milan and Bilbao have the same shirts hence the confusion. It does seem a bit low, but I suppose in these times of recession its a good present really

€250 is more than enough considering the great value in Zara stores. How could someone possibly mix up Bilbao’s and Milan’s kit? Some foolish visitors on this site. Good stuff..

Yeah Gaurdado’s goal was (the fourth one) was a cracker. Split the Bilbao defense in half. Good to see he finally chopped that mop of his. He looked like a girl before.
